BJP activists tortured Tripura Women Comission Chairperson in North Tripura district. Her name is Barnali Goswami. She herself is a hardcore BJP leader.
The supporters of Biswabandhu Sen, the BJP candidate of 56-Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency, harassed and physically manhandled the Smt. Goswami alleging sabotage against the BJP candidate.
BJP and Congress are face to face in tough battle in Dharmanagar. Yesterday’s incident would badly damage the prospect of BJP candidate.
According police the case has-been registered against culprit and investigation is going on.
